Sunsmart Policy

Our aim is to protect the children against the harmful ultraviolet rays that exist all year round (even in colder weather). All children are therefore required to wear a hat when playing in the outside area's. Wide brimmed hats or legionnaires are preferable. During the hot weather, parents are asked to apply sunscreen to their children before attending kindy. Children who attend a full day session will have sunscreen reapplied during the day by staff members. Please ensure that your child does not come to Kindy with a sleeveless top in warmer weather.
